STOELENDANS/SINGINGCHAIRS
Stoelendans verhalen uit de stad or Singingchairs – Voices and stories from the City is a collective performance about multiple ways of experiencing a city. 60 storytellers engaged in a vis-à-vis conversation with the audience, and revealed their ways of using, remembering and living the city of Rotterdam.
The performance was part of the Happening program, curated by Emiliano Gandolfi, in the NAi (Nederlands Architectuurinstituut), Rotterdam.
What we all shared was walking the same pavements and carrying the same carts in the supermarket, but it takes telling a story to envision one another.
